Meaningful Stain

Tue 20 Apr — Sun 08 Aug
From misshapen clouds, to patterns in tree bark, people have an unflinching and subconscious need to make familiar images of the shapes they take in. This goes for stains as well. Beyond the reach of human manipulation, stains slither and slip into shapes and textures, creating some of the most vivid pools for the imagination to submerge itself in.

This exhibition presents works of Enokura Koji (1942-1995) and other artists to give the viewer a chance to see what meaning the stains will hold for them.
