When Tokyo Midtown opened its doors 3 years ago it claimed to usher in a new era of "Japan Value" that would bring vitality to Japan through new values, sensibilities and capabilities. Living up to this promise, the complex is hosting the 3rd annual Tokyo Midtown Award in Art and Design to discover and support talented designers and artists.

This year's art theme is centered on "Japan Value" while the design theme is callig for sophisticated “green” urban life scenes.
