Unlike in the West, where haunted houses typically crop up during the Halloween season, the Japanese like to work up a cold frightened sweat during the hot summer months. This year Tokyo Dome's Haunted House theme is "Ashikari," where the ghost of a woman who went crazy after her husband chopped off her legs reportedly haunts the premises. All visitors are required to remove their shoes when they enter the house. The ghost is desperately looking for a pair of legs so enter at your own risk.
