Open Mic Nights
by spinshellReflecting the growing number of talented foreign musicians, poets and artists in Tokyo, many foreigner-friendly bars and cafes across town host weekly and monthly open mic nights. It’s a win-win situation for all parties involved: performers don’t have to pay to get up on stage (a common practice at many live houses in Japan), customers get free entertainment, and the venue gets some extra traffic. Here are our favorite venues to go check out (and participate in as!) local talent.

Wow epic fail on your website Japanese people don’t care about your crapy attempt at getting famous in Japan. If Japanese people don’t care then you are dead in the water because what is a gaijin going to do for you? Contact Asahi TV and ask them to put your un funny comedy shows on the Japanese TV? hahahaha! The fact that Japanese don’t care about his crap “station” will run you guys out of busines. Plus if I want this information on Tokyo I just go on youtube or better webiste with better info that have been doing this longer then you have.

Ouch Zeeman
Are you really The Man? Me thinks you are Zeelemon.
Bitter aren’t we. You should go away and spend your energy on creating an exciting future instead of using it to attack creative artists doing their thing.
