LowFares.com 2013 Summer Travel Survey Reveals Surge in Summer Vacation Plans
LowFares.comTM, the travel price comparison search site for great deals on flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises and vacation packages, released results today from its annual summer vacation travel survey. The results point to a potentially significant increase in summer vacation travel in 2013. For example, while only 70% of survey respondents took a summer travel vacation last year, an impressive 93% of the respondents are planning a summer travel vacation this year.
The survey, which was sent to over 100,000 U.S.-based subscribers from LowFares.com’s email list, revealed the following additional insights about 2013 summer vacation travel plans:
